The Bellevue Homes & Lifestyles Show will be held at Meydenbauer Center. It is located at Northeast 6th and 112th Avenue Northeast adjacent to Interstate 405 in Bellevue, Washington.

10:00 am to 10:45 am — January 21st (Hand-carried items only)

**NOTE: Large exhibits or those displays requiring on-site construction
must move in on Wednesday, January 19th.

Newsletter

An Exhibitor Newsletter will be mailed to all exhibitors two months prior to the event so you can make the appropriate arrangements – move-in/move-out instructions, exhibitor badges and guest passes.

Decorating

GES has been named the official decorator for the 2011 Bellevue Homes & Lifestyles Show. GES will send out order forms to all exhibitors, providing you with the opportunity to order additional display equipment. Contact GES exhibitor services at (425) 251-6565.

Water, Power, & Phone

Each booth space is supplied with a 500-watt electrical outlet. If special electrical circuits (i.e, 208-volt, high wattage outlets, etc.) are required, or you need access to water or a telephone/fax hookup, contact Meydenbauer Center (425)450-3730 for technical support.

Security & Insurance

Meydenbauer Center exhibit area security is provided from 10am Wednesday, January 19th through 1pm Monday, Monday, January 24th. You may want to consider removing small or valuable items after show hours. This is especially important during the move-out process.

  • For security reasons, the public as well as the exhibitors must be out of the building 30 minutes after closing on show days.
  • Exhibitors are allowed into the show site one hour prior to opening on show days.

Even though 24-hour security will be provided, all exhibitors are required to provide an insurance certificate to management prior to December 15th, 2010. Please contact your insurance agent/broker to secure the proper coverage to satisfy the requirements. If you do not presently carry insurance, or your agent is unable to provide the necessary coverage, please contact Hauglie Insurance Agency at (206) 525-9181.

Badges

Exhibitor ID badges are required for admittance into the show each day. Each company will receive 5 badges per booth space. The exhibitor badges will be available for pickup during the move-in process, and you may also purchase additional ones at that time for $8.00 each. You will also receive 5 guest passes for a one time admittance to the event (additional passes $4.00). All booth fees must be paid in full prior to receiving exhibitor badges.

Sign Changes

If you arrive at the Home Show to set up your exhibit and decide to change your sign you've requested on your Exhibitor Reservation Agreement , a labor charge will be levied to make the change. Contact show management prior to December 15th, 2010 for sign changes.

Notes/Fire Regulations

Meydenbauer Center fire regulations prohibit the following: propane, butane, helium, natural gas and open flames as well as dust-producing machinery. No cooking is allowed

Booth Selection

Booth priority will be based on:

  • Category of product or service
  • Bellevue Homes & Lifestyles Show exhibitor seniority
  • Date that your Exhibitor Reservation Agreement is received with the appropriate deposit

Booth Specifications

The Good Neighbor Policy: Each exhibitor is entitled to a reasonable sightline from the aisle, regardless of the size of the exhibit. Does your booth follow the specifications? See Diagram

Construction Specifications and Requirements for Sidewall Partitions

  • Partition Design and Construction — Compliance with the above partition design
    is requested of all exhibitors planning the construction of wall units for use on either or both ends of their exhibits.
  • Solid Side Partition — Solid side partitions
    will be allowed by management if design arrangements is mutually agreeable with neighboring exhibitors.
  • Exposed Surfaces — Exposed partitions or rough wall surfaces must be finished off by exhibitor.

Exhibitor space is made available in 10'x10' units, unless so noted on the official floor plan. Standard exhibit space includes: Aluminum supports and aisle posts, an eight-foot high backwall and three-foot high side dividers from which flameproof drapes are suspended. All back wall and side dividers will be blue and white alternating panels.

Show management will provide for each 10 linear feet of booth space:

  • 1 – 500 watt electrical outlet
  • 1 – 7"x44" exhibitor ID sign with one line of type in up to 26 characters
  • Backwall and side dividers

Show management will provide for each tabletop display:

  • 1 – 8'x30" skirted table
  • 1 – 7"x44" exhibitor ID sign with one line
  • 1 chair

(Tabletop displays do not include power supply.)
