Mark Ellinger – Hand-blown glass lamps, vases, and floats
Glass has become ubiquitous in the Northwest art scene and Mark Ellinger’s art glass combines brilliant color with innovative and functional form. The vibrant colors of Mark Ellinger’s glass come alive with the changing light. Mark is inspired by his love of the Art Nouveau period and the natural surroundings of the Puget Sound. He has been blowing glass since 1983 and operates his own studio “Glass Quest” in rural Stanwood, Washington.

Joanne Shellan – Impressionistic Oils

Shellan’s obsession is for painting—loose, exuberant, and passionate color to create works that are both emotional and lively. Her paints take advantage of strong highlights, rich color and warm and cool colors. Her subjects often feature people, food, restaurants and other joyful moments of life.

Barbara Wyatt – Unique ceramic sculpture
Barbara’s work is strongly influenced by warm, natural, organic forms. She strives to create a bridge between the world of art and nature. Her 10-year background in basket weaving is proving to be a natural addition to her tendency to embellish her hand made pots with pine needles, grasses, shells, rocks, and other materials.

Lanny Little – Large-scale Acrylic landscapes

Lanny’s life-like scenes of nature have a way of pulling you in and making you feel as if the light is coming through the painting. In your home, a Lanny Little painting is like a window with a beautiful view … it opens up the room and brings nature inside. Lanny spent many years painting large outdoor murals before returning to his love of fine art landscapes.

Jennifer Lommers – Modern Abstracts
Northwest artist Jennifer Lommers specializes in acrylic paintings: modern abstracts, florals, landscapes and birds. Calling herself a “painterly colorist”, Jennifer’s paintings are full of fun and whimsy. A cheerful addition to your home!

J.K. Blackburn – Ceramics
JK Blackburn’s ceramic sculpture express the spiritual need for the mystical and the desire for a connection to the past. Blackburn’s clay pieces are thrown, hand built and assembled using wood and leather. The glazes and stains are applied by spraying, airbrushing and painting, and colored glass frits are used to achieve depth and variations of color and texture.

Jack Gunter – Egg Tempera
Jack Gunter is a unique and diverse artist, who challenges his audience to broaden their reality and enter into an artistic sphere which could best be described as a cross between folk and realism, science and imagination, left-brained and right-brained. Gunter’s vibrant dot matrix representational surface has ties to photorealism and early impressionism.

Patti Pontikis – Glass Jewelry
Patti’s jewelry and design involves primarily working with hot glass. She uses a method called “Lampworking” which is a technique commonly used by artists in Murano, Italy. Lampworking is done by holding glass rods over an open torch flame of intense heat, then adding molten glass layers of luxuriant color. Special tools are used to shape a bead or pendant to the desired form. The piece is then placed in a kiln for 24 hours to assure strength and durability.
Patti calls her pendants “galaxy” because the Dichroic glass used in the center of the pendant gives it a 3D appearance which looks like a galaxy or hologram.

Stan O’Neil – Glass and metal sculpture
Stan O’Neil specializes in custom metal fabrication and hand blown glass. Combining the two mediums, he is able to create unique sculpture that adds the color and warmth of glass with the form and texture of metal. O’Neil’s “Flower Stands” range from 4′ to 6′ in height and add fun accent to your home or garden.

Pat Clayton – Oils, mixed media
Located in Seattle, Pat Clayton is involved with the Seattle Academy of Fine Art and several local Plein Air painting groups. She paints in a variety of styles and is particularly known for her atomspheric landscapes that suggest warm breezes and soft misty views.

Karla Matzke – Soft Pastels
Karla is best known for her color field works in soft pastels and her hard-edged realism. Karla received her Master’s of Fine Arts (MFA) in 1983 from the University of New York at Albany. In Passing of an American Era, she presents paintings in her barn series that marks a romantic era in American history.
